IASD Conferences
The International Association for the Study of Dreams provides both regional and international conferences on dreams and dreaming. The multidisciplinary conferences provide an exchange of work, ideas, and research in psychology, anthropology, biology, physiology, philosophy, literature, the arts, and many other fields.
International Conferences
IASD conferences have spanned the globe over the past two decades. Online we provide schedules, updates, and help planning your conference needs, from accommodations to travel to key contacts and discounts.
Our international conferences are not only famous for the well known attendees, but they also offer a wide variety of forums for the exchange of information and ideas. Panel discussions and paper reviews allow for maximum contact. Workshops and dream groups provide practical experience with a variety of techniques and theories. Special lunches, hikes, and cafe settings provide more extended personal contact. Special networking rooms, meetings, and forums allow for planning and a wider range of activities. Each year the conference is topped off with the Dream Ball, a fabulous costume dream party.
Regional Conferences and Special Events
IASD provides regional and special conferences. These conferences and workshops offer the public a chance to meet with local dream-concerned citizens and researchers. Guidelines are available. Watch for a conference or workshop in your area!
Conference Abstracts
Abstracts are now being made available to the public online. Find out what people are exploring and researching in your areas of interest. Plan your own presentations after reviewing the work of previous workshops and lectures. Collect the abstracts from past conferences and become familiar with who is who in dreams and dreaming.
Conference Tapes
IASD has audio tapes of many of the presentations from nearly two decades of conferences. Look through the collection and find the classics!
Conference Contacts
Are you interested in helping out at the next conference, or do you need more information about the conferences? If so, stop by the who's who page and contact the chair of the conference committee.
